Sammy Moore has joined National League side Dover Athletic on loan until January. The 28-year-old’s first team opportunities have been limited so far this season, he is yet to make an appearance and so far he has been included in just one matchday squad

Moore joined the O’s last summer and made 32 appearances for the club but the arrivals of Nigel Atangana, Robbie Weir and Liam Kelly since January has seen the former AFC Wimbledon man slip down to become fourth-choice central midfielder.

Sammy returns to familiar surroundings having spent two seasons at the  Crabble Athletic Ground. During that time he made 56 appearances for the Whites.
